Is bart gay

A lot of times I sit around and wonder if certain characters from games or shows would be asexual. Simple as. I was just comparing the two, but I guess I was over-thinking it. Make no mistake, John Waters’ Simpsons episode was a groundbreaking moment for gay representation on television. There's a line in one episode that either Patty or Selma has chosen a life of celibacy, while the other has had celibacy thrust upon her.

I think you've put way too much thought into this. In Lisa's wedding episode, he mentions going to the strip club and being married multiple times. I'm obsessed with the simpsons and lately I've been wondering if Bart was asexual. By jrackula April 20, in Asexual Musings and Rantings. You didn't over think it. Karl’s orientation is never explicitly addressed and, when pressed on the matter, series co-creator Matt Groening never confirmed that the character was gay.

My reasons being that he never seems to care too much about relationships, and when they showed him having one in the future he said "I think we're ready to go all the way" and when his girlfriend said she was ready to have sex with him he was confused that she'd think that and told her he meant marraige.

They make a point to make him a not so religious character so for him to think of saving it for marraige would be weird too. Yeah I guess so, it's just that with Lisa they throw her relationships in the future and she enjoys them even though she's 8 and her character is to be the one more interested in grades than anything else. Indeed, some of Bart’s funniest moments involve him.

Yes, Bart is gay. Greg is not allowed to write him explicitly as such though, or at least he wasn’t in Season 3.

Haven’t we seen frequent indications that Bart Simpson isn’t simply white-bread hetero, and instead complicated by a charming queerness? [1][14] John is voiced by John Waters. Maybe it's just gay I want to have a character I want to identify with from the Simpsons since it's always been my favourite, but I'm not sure he really seems asexual to me now that I'm looking at it Any thoughts?

Martin Prince in The Simpsons Bart Simpson’s nerdy classmate and sometime friend spends most of the 30+ seasons of The Simpsons tormented by bullies, including for being gay. He wants her to respect and care for him, but never seems to have sex as the motivation. EDIT: It seems like a lot of people are misunderstanding, I wasn't talking about when he's 10 at all. Also it seems to me that the creators of the Simpsons are more educated in sexualities than most people as they used to claim that Smithers was pansexual which I find is a topic many people have trouble understanding if they even know of itor at least did in an old commentary.

The strongest argument for Bart’s straightness is his bart of dalliances with girls, yet these end up being neither evidence for or against a given reading of his sexual persona. Yes, Bart is gay. John – An openly gay man who features in the season 8 episode "Homer's Phobia" in The episode follows Homer as he comes to accept John as a gay man, and as he allows his son Bart to deviate from traditionally masculine ideas.

Greg is not allowed to write him explicitly as such though, or at least he wasn’t in Season 3. Is this canonically proven yet or am I just crazy?. I would be creeped out if they showed little kids with explicit sexualalities Other than that I just remembered there is evidence that he can't be asexual in the future. [1]. This is a list of bisexual characters and characters hinted to be bisexual, meaning they are attracted to two or more genders.

[1]. There's that episode where he reveals himself to be a year old or near enough, can't remember exactly virgin. [1][14] John is voiced by John Waters. I know the Virgil line in season three gave the hint that he was and one of the writers commented on the dick/Wally and Jaime/Bart pairings saying only one of those characters is gay in their minds, and since three out of four have girlfriends process of elimination dictates it’s Bart.

A number of people have been identified as (or implied to be) lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (commonly abbreviated LGBT). John – An openly gay man who features in the season 8 episode "Homer's Phobia" in The episode follows Homer as he comes to accept John as a gay man, and as he allows his son Bart to deviate from traditionally masculine ideas.

Got to agree with the people who pointed out he is So it would be a bit worrying if he was portrayed as sexual! If anyone is asexual in The Simpsons, wouldn't it be Seymour Skinner?
